Tec Gr12;N3+ Electromech Eng;Trade Tested Millwright;PLC/VSD. Must have 5+ years of exp post trade test on food processing/packing/labelling m/c/PLC/VSD in a food/beverage/FMCG factory. Achieve Departmental goals across all applicable content areas/forge cross departmental relationships based on common company values/ways of working. Install/assemble machinery/mechanical systems/ equipment as per blueprints/technical manuals/manufacturer specs. Perform routine prevent maint on machines/conveyors/pumps/ motors/other mechanical equipment. Diagnose/repair issues with mechanical systems/electrical components/hydraulics. Efficiently troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns/minimise production downtime/utilise diagnostic tools to identify issues, incl vibration analysis /infrared thermography. Assist with installation of new systems/upgrades to existing equipment modifications to improve the overall efficiency of operations. Work closely with production teams/Engineers/ other maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues/improve machine performance. Accurate recordkeeping of maintenance/ repairs/installations, incl. parts used/labour hours/any issues found. Ensure tools/ equipment/parts required for maint are available/well-maintained/follow all safety SOPs, incl. lockout/ tagout practices/while working with hazardous machinery/equipment. Qual. Fitter & Turner/Millwright;Pneumatics;Vocational training;Excell/Outlook. Must have 3+ yrs post-trade test exp of maintenance/repairs in a food factory & workshop/be experienced in computerised maintenance mngt systems/document repair/maint activities in a CMMS. Must have strong mech skills/be able to read/interpret technical manuals/schematics/manufacture parts on a lathe & milling m/c from drawings. Maintain a safe/clean work environment/adhere to safety SOPs/regulations/perform mechanical repairs on filler equipment/pumps/motors/conveyors/ repair/replace defective parts/components/perform prevent maint on equipment /ensure optimal performance/longevity. Report work/breakdowns through systems/conduct regular inspections/ ensure equipment operate at peak performance/uphold highest safety standards. Address HSE requirements/hazards. Contribute insights to maint trends for process improvements. Experienced on electrical systems/fault finding/ preventative maintenance/programming & fault finding of PLC systems/refrigeration system/cold room operation/ working with abattoir/slaughter line equipment/conveyors/processing machines. Able to read/interpret electrical drawings/ schematics/familiar with motor control centres/MCCs/ VSDs/drives/control panels. Must be self-motivated and reliable/have good communication/teamwork/ problem-solving/analytical skills/display attention to detail/ safety awareness/able to work in a high-pressure/fast-paced production environment. Must perform routine maintenance/inspections/repairs /troubleshooting on all electrical/automated systems/ refrigeration systems/ cold rooms/temperature control equipment/conduct advanced fault finding on PLCs/ production lines/processing equipment/ ensure optimal functioning of slaughter line equipment/ hoists/ conveyors /cutting machinery/ assist with installation/upgrades/commissioning of new equipment/systems.
